According to the blue man group, planet Earth is dying and we need to listen up and fix it. Americans and people of the rest of the world have to pay attention to what is going on with the world. Earth is dying and once it does we have no where to go. All of us need to tell George Bush and the rest of the government to do their jobs and do something to help protect our environment. We shouldn't need a trio of blue people to make us see that Earth is dying. People of the world need to stand up and stop the pollution and other things that harm our environment before there is nothing left.

No it is not up to the blue man group to get this message across, but they certainly do a good job here. Things like this send a clear message without scaring people, and target a variety of audiences. It gets the point across in a way in which people might actually listen, as opposed to statistics that may be glanced at briefly before being completely ignored. Creative public service anouncements like this one have great potential to make people care.

This video is very clever in portrayting the message of global warming. I was intrigued from the beginning with the beat and the blue man group, only to find out about the affects and causes of global warming. The video tells us how if something is not done we will need to use our seat cushions as flotation devices and will have no emergency exits. The end of the video really puts into perspective the idea of global warming. When the pictures change from cars and trucks to glaciers melting and massive storms emerging. It really makes you think about what we are doing to our planet. Altough short and sweet the video has a very important message to it about global warming.

The blue man group definitely gets the point through that we have know where to go after we destroy the earth. If you think about it theres not much we can do to save it, unless we somehow make new glaciers, which is not possible. and even then they would still melt and be in the same place we started out in. You certainly cant fix the ozone which has been corroded from all the crap we put in the air on a daily basis.

I agree, the earth is dyeing (and those who are killing it have names and addresses). But i don't think we should depend on George bush and the rest of the government to protect the environment. Because the fact of the matter is even if the government tried to (which they never will) seriously protect the environment and stop climate change, they couldn't. The only real way to stop climate change is for people like you and me to change the way we live. For example, when everybody thinks of global warming, the first thing that comes to their mind is factories with big smokestacks. They then go on and rant about how George bush needs to not allow factories to pollute so much, ironically they'll usually do this driving in their minivan on the way to go buy the new iphone. If we really want to seriously slow climate change, we all have to think about every single purchase we make, every single piece of food we eat, and every time we get behind the wheel of a car. One thing Al Gore decided not to say one word about in his annoying, self praising, corporate movie, was the fact that the meat and dairy industry is the single biggest cause of global warming (i wonder if those campaign contributions to gore from the American dairy farmers had anything to do with that?). Who consumes meat and dairy, about 95% of us, consuming meat, although tasty is 100% unnecessary. Although i'm sure about a million people will say i'm an idiot and blab on about how you need protein and how its natural to eat meat (which it isn't, at least anymore), the fact of the matter is cutting meat out of your diet will make you a healthier person if you have a well rounded diet. I stopped eating meat so i feel like i can complain a little, but i'm sick of meat eating politicians and suv driving soccer moms telling me that once a democrat gets elected and the kyoto treaty is signed, global warming will be fixed, because it wont. Al Gore wont fix global warming and George Bush certainly won't fix global warming , our only chance to stop global warming is to make some relatively minor sacrifices and be more responsible citizens of the planet .
